We All Love AI! Let's Bring It Into Our Classrooms!

    Hey guys!

    Before the end of this term we should talk about this. We all enjoy using AI, don't we? Well in fact AI is a really unique tool that can be so useful in language teaching. I will share you our AI-integrated teaching material that I created with my friends as well as talking about how we created it.

    For this project, first we need an objective. Our objective was writing. To get some ideas we also used AI. We brainstormed with Google Gemini and come up with a good idea. We wanted our students to create their town maps with AI and then write sentences to direct someone to somewhere on the map. We provided our students some prompts created by Gemini to help them create a map image that is usable in our lesson. With these prompts we ordered AI to add the twelve place name that is taken from Theme 5; Life in the Neighbourhood of the provided textbook.

    For the next step, we of course used Canva. We created our digital worksheet's ingredients and then used Canva for the visualization. And finally we created our Assure lesson plan. Take a look at our material and please you do the same for your students. AI has that incredibly high potential in our classrooms! We should make use of it!

     With the intention of bringing awareness to the issue of cyberbullying, I have prepared an infographic that contains vital details regarding the issue in the topic. The aim was to make the issue more impactful while also accessible so that people could pay attention towards the issue. I created the infographic on Visme and then embedded it in my Blogger site.        Hey guys!       Our journey of exploring different approaches and tools to improve our students' language learning is going well! Now we tried a Flipped Classroom approach .      The Flipped Classroom approach reverses the traditional learning environment; students acquire new content at home often through videos. And we use class time for active practice and interaction. For language classes, this is a really impressive method as it maximizes the time available for speaking and communicative activities.
